Add and Manage Markets

The Swidget app allows you to create and manage markets to organize your devices and customize your smart home experience. Below are instructions on how to add a market and manage its settings.

Adding a Market

There are two ways to create a new market in the Swidget app:

Method 1: From the Home Screen

1. Open the Swidget app and go to the Home screen.
2. Tap the arrow icon at the top right corner.
3. In the Create Market screen:
   1. Market Name: Enter the name of your new market.
   2. Edit Background: Tap the Edit icon to select a background image for your market.
   3. Add Location: Tap Add Location to specify the market location. This will be used for sunrise/sunset detection and weather information.
   4. Add Timezone: Tap Timezone to set the timezone for scheduling automations.
   5. Once all information is entered, tap Save.

Method 2: From the Settings Menu

1. Open the Swidget app and go to the Settings screen.
2. Tap Manage Markets.
3. Tap Create New Market and follow steps 3-5 from Method 1 to complete the market creation process.

Managing a Market

1. Go to the Settings screen.
2. Tap Manage Markets.
3. Select the market you want to manage.
4. In the Manage Market screen, you can:
   1. Toggle Show Weather on or off.
   2. Manage Properties: Add or remove properties associated with the market.
   3. Unit Preferences: Set your preferred units for temperature and pressure.
   4. Market Sharing: Share the market with other users.
   5. Electricity Rate: Set the electricity rate to estimate the usage cost of connected appliances.
   6. Privacy Settings: Adjust privacy settings for the market.
   7. Delete Market: Remove the market entirely.

By following these steps, you can easily add and manage markets in your Swidget app, ensuring your smart home devices are organized and optimized to your preferences.
